ISA Environmental Studies Section Newsletter Call for Submissions

The ESS newsletter has a new home. It will now be based at the Center for Unconventional Security Affairs at the University of California, Irvine (www.cusa.uci.edu) and co-edited by Richard Matthew and Bryan McDonald.

We are currently soliciting information for the next edition (Fall 2007) of the newsletter. We welcome submissions about section news, publications, websites, job and funding opportunities, announcements and upcoming conferences and meetings.

The Environmental Studies Section of the International Studies Association (ISA) was founded in 1983. The section seeks a better understanding of feedbacks between human and natural systems within global, regional, and national contexts. We promote interactions within the scholarly community and encourage member engagement with practitioners and policy makers when appropriate. ESS supports innovative research, theoretical diversity, interdisciplinary perspectives, and the application of a wide array of methodologies for analyzing international environmental issues and global environmental governance.
